MEMS Formaldehyde sensor (HCHO)


Introduction

The S1001 formaldehyde gas sensor is a semiconductor gas sensor developed based on MEMS technology and can be used to detect the formaldehyde gas content in different scenarios. In addition to the sensor design, the company also provides complete gas sensor modules including integrated circuits


Characteristic

Using MEMS technology, semiconductor materials, good sensitivity, resolution and accuracy for formaldehyde, can detect 40ppb formaldehyde, small size, low power consumption, high sensitivity, fast response recovery, simple drive circuit, good stability, long life, The structure is strong and the shock resistance is good.


Main application

Widely  used  in air  purifiers, fresh air  conditioners, smart wearables,  portable detectors.

Note: The picture above shows the basic test circuit of the S1001 sensor. The sensor needs to apply 2 voltages: heater voltage (V h) and test voltage (Vcc). Among them, Vh is used to provide a specific working voltage for the sensor, and DC power or AC power can be used. Vout is sensing The voltage across the load resistor (R L) connected in series. Vcc is the test voltage for the load resistance RL, and a DC power supply is required.
